TWS does a great job of continually updating these templates and their current one is for Finale 2012a and VDL 2.5.5. They also havé one for FinaIe 2011 but its for VDL 2.5. I suggest yóu consider upgrading tó Finale 2012 if youre going to be a serious VDL user and want to take advantage of what look to me like some very beneficial updates in the 2.5.5 version (for 15 Im planning on upgrading just to get the bowed crotales).
